Bridges are connecting places, connecting people – a construction team programme

Very challenging team task, and a real case study of a team work at the same time. The bridge construction programme requires a good cooperation and trust within the team. We will divide the participants into two teams and their task will be to build up a functional knotted bridge construction within the time limit and then make a bridge load test by crossing over it! We will distribute all the necessary equipment and material (timber, beams, ropes…) and a plan how to make the bridge. No nails are allowed! Of course, there will be knowledgeable instructors as well.

The final result is surprising and it virtually, as well as literally connects the team members. This activity has many alternative versions – instead of bridge we can be working on “lighthouses”, or medieval “catapult” weapons.
