...Make responsible choices when planning your meeting, incentive trip or holiday in Prague and the Czech Republic...
Green tourism is an ever expanding concept focusing on minimizing the negative impacts of tourism on the local environment and community. As you can profit from visiting less known and unspoiled regions and learn about the real life of the country you visit, it is a WIN-WIN situation for both you and the society.
If you want to use the concept of corporate social responsibility while planning your incentive travel, if green tourism is appealing to you, or simply if you wish to „be green“ while travelling to Czech Republic, we will be most happy to help you!
BE INSPIRED BY OUR PROGRAM SAMPLES:
1. Agrotourism, holiday on a farm
You can visit or stay at farms that concentrate on eco-farming and the production of organic food. During your stay you will become part of the family, you can help with running the farmstead and children will be able to play with house pets and learn about farm animals. You will go mushrooming in the forests, fly your hand-made paper kite in the wind and bake potatoes in hot camp fire ashes for your dinner. In the end you will be rewarded with quiet and peaceful ambiance.
2. Community and environmental benefit activities
In cooperation with regional partners we can organize various volunteering programs for your group. These may be, for example, tree planting, improving greenways, repairing a run down playground, getting involved in heritage projects etc.
3. Environmentally friendly hotels, restaurants
If you wish to reduce your ecological footprint, we will help you in finding ecologically friendly hotels and restaurants throughout your stay. In such hotels you will be asked to separate the waste, your towel will not be washed after single use unless you wish so, you will drink tap water and eat local products, etc.
4. Soft tourism
There are many ways how to make your travel “greener”. Upon your request we can adjust your itinerary including for example bicycles instead of quads, trains instead of cars, local food instead of exotic specialties, etc.
5. Sustainable tourism projects
There are many sustainable development tourism projects throughout all of the Czech Republic. One of them is, for example, the Moravian Wine Trails Project striving for the development of wine culture and sustainable tourism in Southern Moravia. Visitors can choose from one-day trips or longer tours on which to discover local culture, wines and monuments.
