Culture and Event Tours

There are many cultural and social events held annually, but also many one-time events in Prague and in all of the Czech Republic.

	To name only a few, in May, there is the "Prague Spring" – an international music festival in Prague, during the summer you can visit the open-air "Summer Shakespeare Festival". July is the time of famous Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, whereas December of the charming Christmas Markets all over the major cities.
	Many important sporting and cultural events take place here – on 2010 for example the World Championship in women’s basketball, Rammstein, Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode, Chris Rea or Mark Knopfler concerts, and the annual Brno Grand Prix in August.
	It is also practical to use the Czech Republic as your base camp for events in the neighbouring countries – e.g. during the FIFA World Cup in Germany 2006 many fans opted to stay in the Czech Republic and travelled to Germany only for the matches.
