WINE TOUR OF CENTRAL EUROPE

7 Days, tour starts in Vienna and finishes in Budapest

VIENNA, WEINVIERTEL, SOUTH MORAVIA, BUDAPEST, EGER, TOKAJ
This private luxury tour features the best of Central Europe with a focus on the countries’ centuries-old winemaking tradition. It includes tasting of unusual local varieties and private touring at leading wine estates in the Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary’s most renowned viticultural regions, as well as cultural touring Vienna, Znojmo and Budapest and beautiful traditional villages throughout the countries.

The history of vineyards in Central Europe goes back all the way to the first century AD when the Roman soldiers entered this region for the first time. Thanks to a favourable climate the northernmost located vineyards in the whole world were created here. Local wines are of growing popularity, winning many awards recently. Each sub-region produces specific and unmistakable types of wine. Arguably, the king among them is the Eger-Tokaj Wine Region – a UNESCO World Heritage region listed for its long history of wine production.
